A quick FAQ on the New Maltese Fun Party Hipper blind bag: what comes in each bag, how the 8+1 Funism lineup works, and what size to expect.
Quick Answer
Each New Maltese Fun Party Hipper blind bag contains two mini pieces from a Funism series of 8 regular styles plus 1 chaser. Expect small PVC/ABS figures around 1.53–2.4 inches, so buy it for the surprise and display potential rather than large plush size.
Why each bag holds two pieces, not one
The two-piece format changes how you plan a purchase. One bag gives you two chances at a regular style, but it does not guarantee two different characters, and the chaser is still a possibility rather than a promise. If you are chasing a full set, treat each bag as a small step, not a shortcut.
The size trade-off: tiny figures, big display flexibility
At roughly 1.53–2.4 inches, these pieces suit desk edges, small shelves, and crowded display areas where larger figures will not fit. The trade-off is detail: fine paint and small accessories are harder to inspect, and the catalog notes that lighting and screen differences can affect how color looks in person.
Where the ‘hipper’ label fits
The series name includes ‘Hipper,’ but the supplied catalog does not describe a bag clip, strap, or attachment method. If you need a confirmed hanger for a backpack, check the packaging or ask before buying; otherwise treat this as a mini-figure series first.
Maltese Fun Party Hipper FAQ
- How many pieces come in one blind bag?
- Two pieces per bag, drawn from the 8 regular styles and 1 chaser. The catalog does not state whether the two pieces can be duplicates, so do not assume variety within a single bag. If you want two different characters, plan to trade or buy more than one bag.
- Can I complete the full set by buying a certain number of bags?
- No fixed number is guaranteed. With 8 regular styles plus a chaser and two pieces per bag, completion depends on assortment and chance. The catalog does not publish a case ratio, so any ‘buy X bags to finish’ claim would be a guess. Set a budget before chasing the chaser rather than assuming a fixed bag count.
- Are these plush or plastic?
- They are PVC/ABS figures, not plush. The ‘Maltese’ name refers to the character theme, and the catalog gives no fabric or stuffing content. Buy this for a mini-figure shelf, not for a soft cuddle toy.
- What age are they for?
- The catalog lists 15&Up. Small parts and collector-oriented packaging make them a poor fit for young children regardless of the cute theme. Keep them out of reach of kids under 15.
- Why does my figure’s color or size look slightly different?
- The catalog notes lighting, display, and photography can affect appearance, and measurement may vary by 1–3 cm. Those are stated tolerances, not defects by themselves. Judge size and color against the stated range before treating a difference as a fault.
